Day Six - Time is getting scarce...

I think I'm suffering of a form of writers block, as I can't get managed to start with the confrontation system. Instead, I created a new scene for the main menu, defined dynamic cameras for it, set up a credits screen within there, changed the new game screen to be able to launch a dungeon instead of a location, finished the outside of the mansion level... Even the grandfathers clock in the main menu shows the system time and is therefor fully functional. But there is no sign of the confrontation system yet...

That will be without alternative tomorrow. My plan would be to collect available enemy meshes and try to define interesting behaviours for them. With this, the rest room will receive several new functions, like allowing the player to rest, which restores health and sanity and deciphering information about the monsters. The idea is to collect some kind of information or evidence, which then is protocolled in a book, acting like a skill tree. Only if the behaviour is collected, the player shall be able to beat the enemies.

The most bitter thing yet is the fact, that it is virtually impossible to finish all dungeons on the same visual level. I guess, there will be a lot left as blockout. I try to work step by step from the beginning of the game towards the full content, but most likely, that won't see the finish line eventually.
